Thank You for Visiting
This site is dedicated to my darling cat, Miss Moppet. My mother originally choose the name for her, from the Beatrix Potter Story, titled "Miss Moppet". The story describes Moppets playful adventure in capturing a mouse in her home. The story can be located here: [ http://www.tcom.ohiou.edu/books/kids/Moppet/Mm00.htm ]
My Moppet Facts
Born on the 12th of August 1997.
Weights around 5 kgs.
Miss Moppet was given to my sister from my Auntie, when she was old enough to be weaned from her mother, Shelly. My sister was too young to handle a kitten at the time, and being too ruff with moppet, by carrying her around by her neck! And pulling her fur, so she disowned Moppet through fear of bites and scratches and gave her to me. At that time Moppet had actually grown fond of me, so she didn't mind at all.
Moppet's sister, Narla, when young looked very similar to Moppet, the only difference was Narla had a white tip on her tail. So Narla was dubbed, "Moppet's Twin".

As moppet grew older, her fur began to bloom. By the time she had reached adulthood, her fur had grown to a soft coat, with a maximum length of about 5 cm. The underside of her fur, a pale yellow color, and some patches of soft white. She also has slight orange and brown fur on her back and legs. Her eyes are a lovely light green, that when her pupils dilate, almost become blue.
She loves to chase anything that moves, and sometimes wants to be chased herself. Loves anything and everything yellow!
Moppet said, "Meow, I live in Sydney, Australia, where I sleep in my own special cat shed outside at night, so I can't eat wild animals, only look at them. I hate it when the birds flock around my house to laugh at me in the morning, and I can't do anything about it!"
